Left fallow for a while again
Real World Recording Artists Pandora Internet Radio Station

I still plan to write some more frequent substantive entries here (while perhaps managing to make then a mite shorter and less aimlessly meandering).

In the meantime, here is a classic meme that turned out too well not to share:
* Grab the nearest book.
* Open the book to page 56.
* Find the fifth sentence.
* Post the text of the sentence in your journal along with these instructions.
* Don't dig for your favorite book, the cool book, or the intellectual one: pick the CLOSEST.
Nearest book on my shelf here 'Journey Through Genius: The Great Theorems of Mathematics.'

"I have traversed this bottomless night, which extinguished all light and joy in my life...I entreat you, leave the science of parallels alone."

A rather poetic quote from Wolfgang Bolyai to his son Johann which is a warning, from father to son and from one mathematician to another, that more or less means "Beware the parallel postulate, my son, the jaws that bite, the claws that catch!" :-T

I'm pleased that you're loving the kilt :-D It was definitely a special one. And I am of the belief that "Purple is correct."

BTW: Did you notice the link at the top to my the world music internet radio station I tried to put together. It leans heavier to the electronic side than I normally do, because that's what's easily found in their catalog.

:-D

I'm good my dear. How are you? Funny enough I just tried to look for you on Facebook yesterday along with some other names of old friends I hadn't see pop up there yet. No luck though. Either I'm bad at searching or you've resisted the lure of the Facebook.

Also worth noting, there is still an image of you hanging on my wall at home, m'dear. How was Santarchy this year? I failed to notice it coming around at all.

I'm good too. I've had a few requests from friends to join Facebook, and my response is something like "Fuuuck. Why do I need to join another networking site? When does it end?"

I'm glad that photo is still up! And Santarchy has yet to happen! I believe the date is December 20th, but the Santii have been a bit vague.
